The Holy Spirit

We believe that Jesus Christ is present among us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through Him God loves us, empowers us and lives in us. The Holy Spirit gives gifts to the believers and fosters unity, Christ-likeness and love among believers by revealing Jesus and testifying about Him.

John 14:26 (HSCB)
(Jesus Speaking) But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit; the Father will send Him in My name; will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.

John 15:26 (HSCB)
"When the Counselor comes, the One I will send to you from the Father —the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me.

Romans 5:5 (HSCB)
This hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Romans 8:9-11,14 (HSCB)
You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God lives in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. Now if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then He who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through His Spirit who lives in you.... All those led by God's Spirit are God's sons.

Galatians 5:22-25 (HSCB)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:3-7 (HSCB)
diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds [us]. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope at your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.
