Every Wednesday night, at 7:00 PM, The Vine provides youth group programs for children, from kindergarten through high school. The high school youth group meets at Pastor Tomas’ house. It is a diverse, close-knit group of teens that truly desire Christian fellowship and spiritual guidance in their lives. They strive to be witnesses of Christ in their schools, and among their friends. They face many challenges daily, from peer pressure, to difficult life choices, and harsh expectations. They recognize their own vulnerabilities to negative influences, so close and accessible to them, on the Internet, and TV. But they want to be trusted to make good choices in their lives. They want to be expected to succeed, to be a light in the darkness, to set an example in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. Pastor Tomas leads discussions with them each week, always allowing and encouraging their
input. The meetings are laid back and fun. Youth Group not only ministers to the kids at the Vine, but also to their invited friends. Anyone in this age group is welcome to join.
